Due to negative economic factors caused by the development of the global COVID-19 pandemic that has led to changes on the worldwide fuel markets, the management of JSC “ECTOS”, has made a decision to suspend production at the OJSC “ECTOS-VOLGA”, facility as of November 12, 2020. The suspension will be in effect until the expected improvement of the market conditions. During the suspension the facility will undergo preventive maintenance, which will ensure a higher production efficiency at OJSC “ECTOS-VOLGA” after the production process launches and resumes.

It is important to note that all the contractual obligations of ECTOS Group to supply MTBE to its customers will be fulfilled in full from the JSC “URALORGSINTEZ” facility, which is continuing to operate as scheduled despite the current deficit of LPG raw materials for the petrochemical industry in the Russian Federation.
