3 million is a merit of each member!

Uralorgsintez marks the next anniversary. On the 2nd of February, the three-millionth ton of methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) was produced in workshop No. 6 of the petrochemical plant involved in processing of aromatic hydrocarbons and ether production.

The “memorable” production on the night between the second and the third February was performed under supervision of distillation operators: Vladimir Elishev, Nikolay Lukichev, Andrey Timofeev, Evgeniy Rubtsov, Sergey Ilin, and shift foreman Mikhail Abrosimov. I congratulate the plant personnel! Three million is a merit of each member!” – Dmitriy Piunov, the head of the petrochemical plant, said.

Viktor Fomenko, the managing director of Uralorgsintez: “This even is a worthy milestone in the history of our enterprise. I would like to thank all employees of the plant, and especially colleagues, who contribute their efforts into production on a monthly basis. I wish to all employees safe work and new production achievements!”

Today, Uralorgsintez included into EKTOS Group of Companies, is a leader in the petrochemical industry carrying out activities on production of methyl tert-butyl ether.

• — the millionth ton of the product was produced in 2010;
• — the one and a half millionth ton was produced in May of 2012;
• — the two-millionth ton was produced in January of 2015;
• — two and a half million tons were produced in August of 2017.
